  • How do they sleep at night?



    Okay, like many other people- I have been a loyal paying customer of AT&T for quite a few years now.. but it seems like the only grief that I have in my life comes from dealing w/them. MY BEEF: In May of 2011 I phoned AT&T to make sure that transferring my service (U-verse internet/home phone) to my new address would work out O.K. they said they found my address and everything would be fine. Okay, on 6/13/11 I phoned again to transfer my service.. on Tuesday 6/14 I phoned again to check on the status and was told they could not locate my address: 541 1/2. The 1/2 is what is... More...

  • Air Card Isn't Great



    So agravating that the laptop connect card is far less than AT&T advertises. I think what's his name in the commercials found the internet because he traveled a million miles searching for it. The unit was misrepresented as being unlimited access( it's not) fast ( it's really not since they fail to mention that you don't live in a 3 G area.) have you ever tried to read the fine print on TV? It's miniscule for a reason. To get sucker punched when you talk to a rep. Anyway I am in a 2 year contract and am willing to pay the over one humndred dollar fee to go back... More...

  • Worst customer service ever.



    I have my DSL through AT&T. A few weeks ago, it stopped working. After innumerable calls, I finally got through to the service center, which, by the way, is in INDIA. After asking me every irrelevant question in the book, they finally agreed to send over a technician. He was actually very helpful, and fixed the problem in the line. To do so he had to climb the telephone pole a block away. Then the problem happened again. Exact same problem, took the usual hour to get through to customer service in India, where the rep claimed to have magically fixed the line from his location.... More...

    I WONDER HOW MANY ARE BEING SCAMMED BY THE AT&T 3RD DEGREE TECH AT THE COST OF $107.OO PLUS SCENARIO: I COULD NOT ACCESS THE INTERNET ON MY HOME COMPUTER; CALLED AT&T AND WAS TOLD BY ONE OF THEIR TECH THAT MY MODUIM WAS DOWN.OK I GOT A NEW MODIUM, WHICH AT&T SENT (IT WAS DUE ME) CALLED AT&T TECH SUPPORT TO WALK ME THE INSTALLING, GOT IT HOOKED UP AND I STILL COULD NOT ACCESS INTERNET.     I referred my daughter in July for her at&t internet. I called them and told them I didn't receive the credit so they had me re-register on their site. They had made a computer change and thats the only way to get on the system. they said it wouldn't be a problem! Now when I call they say that I referred her after she had signed up. What a bunch of crap! I'm going to the Atty General office to file a complaint. More...
