  • Correct address for service



    Today I phoned AT&T for the 7th time over the issue of my Uverse service. I have been trying since the 13th of June to transfer service to my HOUSE that has a 1/2 at the end of the street number. I hope AT&T is able to procure the new modem and disconnect the service that is currently on AT THE WRONG ADDRESS - and also IN MY NAME. I am a college student taking online classes, and this repetitive dialogue that I've come to expect from the rep's, salespeople and even supervisors is getting really old, really fast! More...

  • How do they sleep at night?



    Okay, like many other people- I have been a loyal paying customer of AT&T for quite a few years now.. but it seems like the only grief that I have in my life comes from dealing w/them. MY BEEF: In May of 2011 I phoned AT&T to make sure that transferring my service (U-verse internet/home phone) to my new address would work out O.K. they said they found my address and everything would be fine.   • Terrible! Go somewhere else!



    Every couple hours all computers in my house will disconnect from the internet while the modem flashes red and waits about 5 min. Att said it was the modem so at my own expense i bought another but no same problem...I then moved to college and my roommate signed up for ATT internet and guess what happened??? Cant wait for contract to expire so i can switch to comcast...Only thing I like about ATT more then comcast is there tech support and trouble men.   • Air Card Isn't Great



    So agravating that the laptop connect card is far less than AT&T advertises. I think what's his name in the commercials found the internet because he traveled a million miles searching for it. The unit was misrepresented as being unlimited access( it's not) fast ( it's really not since they fail to mention that you don't live in a 3 G area.) have you ever tried to read the fine print on TV?   • Worst customer service ever.



    I have my DSL through AT&T. A few weeks ago, it stopped working. After innumerable calls, I finally got through to the service center, which, by the way, is in INDIA. After asking me every irrelevant question in the book, they finally agreed to send over a technician. He was actually very helpful, and fixed the problem in the line. To do so he had to climb the telephone pole a block away. Then the problem happened again. Exact same problem, took the usual hour to get through to customer service in India, where the rep claimed to have magically fixed the line from his location.... More...

    I WONDER HOW MANY ARE BEING SCAMMED BY THE AT&T 3RD DEGREE TECH AT THE COST OF $107.OO PLUS SCENARIO: I COULD NOT ACCESS THE INTERNET ON MY HOME COMPUTER; CALLED AT&T AND WAS TOLD BY ONE OF THEIR TECH THAT MY MODUIM WAS DOWN.OK I GOT A NEW MODIUM, WHICH AT&T SENT (IT WAS DUE ME) CALLED AT&T TECH SUPPORT TO WALK ME THE INSTALLING, GOT IT HOOKED UP AND I STILL COULD NOT ACCESS INTERNET.     I referred my daughter in July for her at&t internet. I called them and told them I didn't receive the credit so they had me re-register on their site. They had made a computer change and thats the only way to get on the system. they said it wouldn't be a problem! Now when I call they say that I referred her after she had signed up. What a bunch of crap! I'm going to the Atty General office to file a complaint. More...

I TRIED TO GIVE AT&T ANOTHER TRY ON THEIR NEW PRODUCTS FOR TV,PHONE,AND INTERNET SERVICE.
THEY AGAIN PROVED TO ME WHY I DO NOT HAVE AT&T.
I LIVE IN A 700 CONDO COMPLEX IN SOUTHINGTON, CT.. WHEN I ORDERED THEIR MOST INCLUSIVE PACKAGE IN JUNE 2010, THEY FOUND OUT I WAS THE ONLY UNIT NOT AVAILABLE FOR U-VERSE. THEIR COMMENT WAS I WOULD BE HOOKED UP AUGUST, AFTER THEY REPAIR THEIR SYSTEM. IT IS NOW 10/20/10 AND I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM AT&T, AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS.
I GAVE UP ON THEM AND SIGNED-UP WITH COX AND RECEIVED A GREAT PACKAGE WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF MY PHONE CALL.
THIS WHAT I CALL GOOD SERVICE, AT&T SHOULD GO TO A CLASS WITH COX AND LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT CUSTOMER RELATIONS.
