  • you will spend hours on the phone getting nowhere

    I have literally spent about 11 hours of my life on the phone with att trying to resolve issues, bury the cable in my backyard (which took 5 months), get my $300 rewards card for signing up (still have not received it after a year of waiting). They keep transferring you and the issue never gets resolved. This really goes on for hours like a very bad movie you paid too much for to leave. They are the worst company I have EVER dealt with.   • AT&T Uverse

    I hate that AT&T reps are never on the same page. I should be getting a promo added to my account but now when I call in, they have no record of this after I was promised this from another AT&T representative. If I didn't have to use this company for internet and cable where I live, I wouldn't! And not to mention how many times my cable/internet goes out with these high rates! More...

    I myself work in customer service for AT&T Mobility on the front line of everyday feedback from our customers!!! I feel their pain! If you want to make them happy MR. STEPHENSON here is what you can do... Although every red blooded american knows, we customer service reps know you will probably never take advise from us even though we are your work horse and know what the customers are upset about, But I as your employee will tell you anyway and I do not have to have a Master Degree in Business to figure this out...   • "We made a mistake, we'll get you back online in a week"

    In order for customer service and tech support to work in favor of your company, one of the key things you do not do is drive them to your closest (& only) real competitor in the area. Today (2009.04.23) marks the day that AT&T would've come to my apartment building to fix the mistake they made in unhooking the wrong unit in the first place. On Friday of last week our internet service was cut, at about this time (~103000) after some neighbors were done moving out about a week before, their unit number differs by one digit and were our closest neighbors in the building....
